What do we do?
Our qualified and experienced health care professional will assess your needs by completing a case history. This will enable us to identify your concerns and determine if wax removal is advised.
We will then utilise video otoscopy which gives you the rare opportunity to see inside your own ear canal !
Screening audiometry is also conducted. This is a simple hearing test to determine the level of your hearing prior to your wax being removed.
You will then be able to make an informed choice whether to undergo the microsuction procedure. Screening audiometry is then recored again in order to establish hearing thresholds once your ear has been dewaxed.
